Virtual Taskboard

The online taskboard visualizes the work of the team for the current sprint. One look gives an overview of the complete status of work, priorities and team availability. Tasks and stories can be added simply by dragging and dropping.

Tags can be added on the tasks and you take up a task simply by adding your personal icon to it.

Backlog Management

pmScrum manages your backlog in an efficient way. The product backlog view gives you all the stories that are not yet attributed to a sprint.

The sprint backlog displays all stories on the current sprint and the backlog overview combines both views, so you always have the complete status of your project.

pmScrum allows you to move stories from one backlog to the other in a pragmatic way.

Burndown Charts

Depending on the work completion, there is an up-to-the-hour view of where the team is in terms of planned versus actual work. The availability capacity is driven by the team’s resource calendar and the calculated velocity.

pmScrum contains a range of out-of-the-box burn down charts and offers the possibility to configure your own charts. Your backlog can be burned down on sprint level, product level and release level.

Velocity can be measured in story points or in hours.

Customized Reporting

pmScrum comes with a range of build-in graphical reports for your backlog management, sprint overview, release planning, issue management,… But as a user, you can customize your own reports, thanks to the solid data model without the need of coding.

A basic MS Excel knowledge will be sufficient. Excel Templates can be uploaded and linked to an existing list, an own created list or smart list and even over different projects.

Timesheet Management

pmScrum’s timesheet management allows transparent and up-to-date timesheets for the team. Performed tasks are automatically registered and the actual worked time generates the correct entries in the timesheet.

Time can be added on the lowest level of your project. It will always be rolled up to the next higher-up levels.

Impediments | Bug Tracking

pmScrum allows the follow-up of bugs and impediments with standard lists and charts. Bugs & impediments are logged and they can be linked and traced back automatically to the item where they occurred on.

The bugs and impediments can be visualized on the taskboard and can be followed through solid reporting.

Audit Trail | Item History Tracking

pmScrum keeps an audit trail of the complete history of all items. At any moment, any change on any item can be traced.

Who changed what item from what into what on what precise moment in time, pmScrum logs everything all the time without impact on the overall performance. All these information can also be used to report on, in your customized reporting.

Customizable Fields

pmScrum is a highly flexible tool that guarantees a pragmatic approach to your scrum process. pmScrum comes with default views, fields and statuses that support your scrum process.

On a deeper level, pmScrum offers a range of standard fields that are hidden per default but that can be added with two clicks. These fields range from specific scrum fields over more project management related attributes like Item Creator, Last Updated or Impacted Applications…

But pmScrum can do more. PmScrum allows you to rename all fields, to change the order of all fields and even to create your own fields. This all can be done in a matter of seconds.
